Our teachers are also educated in or are in the process of schooling for Early Childhood Education or another related field. Education requirements vary based on position.

Health & Safety Practices

We practice frequent handwashing, sanitizing, and disinfecting. For our most up-to-date illness policy, please contact us directly.

Behavior Guidance & Management

We take a positive approach in behavior management and guidance through communicated expectations, conversation, boundaries, modeling, mutual respect, and love. We guide, redirect, and offer praise and positive reinforcement. We take the time to get to know our students through their individual selves and their families to learn what they respond best to. Our goal is to give our students the tools to become successful in making healthy and safe choices for themselves and with those around them. Open communication with families is essential for success in positive behaviors.

Faith-Based Environment

Our school is located inside The Pursuit Church, and we have a partnership with one another. We strive to provide a positive, fun, and safe place for children to learn and grow. Our curriculum and practices include Christian beliefs, prayer, scripture, stories, and songs. With that being said, we do respect all religions and do not discriminate. Nor do you need to be a member of the church to enroll your student at Pursuit Preschool and Childcare.

Volunteering

Volunteering is not a requirement. If you’d like to volunteer though, please contact us directly for more information. The school has different needs at different times, and there are certain requirements that an individual must have to volunteer.
